Director Pandiraj, whose Marina is all completed has said that the movie will resemble reality and is closer to his hart than his earlier ventures Pasanga and Vamsam.
The movie harps on the need to educate young children working in Marina beach. But it is not preachy and all told in a humorous manner.
Story
First things first. The highlight of the movie is its interesting story. There are enough funny moments in the script that revealing the story would spoil the joy of watching it.
Marina deals with the life of young childrens who sell goodies around the beach.
Director Pandiraj has said that the movie will resemble reality and is closer to his heart than his earlier ventures Pasanga and Vamsam. Also he is confident that Marina will win accolades and admiration of the masses.
The film has been released today and it is expected to repeat the magic of director Pandiraj‘s first venture Pasanga.
Performance
Siva Karthikeyan steals the show with his comic mannerisms. But it is Bakoda the young lap who scores with his performance. Also Oviya does a decent role as a chennai girl.
Also Jayaprakash, Pandian, Gautham Purushoth, Senthikumari, Jithan Mohan have essayed their roles with ease.
Technicality
The movie has music by Girish G while cinematography is by Vijay.
Songs are good, especially Vanakkam Chennai is a lovely number with all top directors appearing in guest appearances, Tippu. Vijay’s cinemastography is bright and beautiful.
Analysis
Each character in the film has a purpose and takes the story forward. The film is lively and it’s about life around the asia’s largest beach marina and a good screenplay makes it interesting.
Overall the movie is worth a watch and brings back the entertainment of the Pasanga movie team.
